Additional level of security for all online transactions

Beginning 1st August 2009 you can feel more secure about using your credit card for making online transactions. The Reserve Bank of India has made it mandatory for all online transactions to have an extra level of authentication from 1st of August 2009. This extra level of security is a password that you will have to enter after entering your credit/debit card details. This is to ensure that no one can misuse your credit card even if it is lost or stolen! You will require this password for making transactions on any website in India, including meritnation.com.
Making online payments for your purchases at meritnation.com
While making your online payment at meritnation.com, you will be asked for the authentication password after you have filled in your card details. Once you enter this password (‘Verified by Visa’ or ‘MasterCard SecureCode), your bank will validate it and you will be able to complete the purchase.
How do I get this password?
The process is simple. In order to get this password you will have to log on to the issuing bank’s website and register your card for the ‘Verified by Visa’ or ‘Master Card SecureCode’ authentication service, as the case may be.
We recommend that you get this new password as soon as possible. This will ensure that all your online purchases work smoothly after August 1st. To make this convenient for you, we have listed the websites of major banks in India below:

I am finding a bit difficult as my banker is CANARA BANK and Card is CLASSIC VISA. This bank is not prepared to help on online facility. Why this bank is so indifferent to customer needs. I am fade up with their actions.

this is a fabulous site as it provides study materials,revision notes,test papers(both M.C.Q based and subjective one),puzzles and most importantly NCERT solutions of every subject……….something missing that is study material of S.St and Hindi. Plz also add them and also try to include more videos for better explanation.
