Meritnation Launches Common Proficiency Test(CPT) Pack!

Common Proficiency Test is an entry level exam that is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for admitting students to the CA course.

About Common Proficiency Test (CPT)

Entry level or Level I exams for CA course
Eligibility for registering for CPT course- successfully passed class X exams
Students who have successfully passed or have appeared for class XII exams are eligible to appear for CPT
Four-hour long objective-type test
200 marks test comprising questions from 4 subjects- Fundamentals of Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude
Negative marking for incorrect answers
Qualifying marks- 50%
CPT is held twice in a year i.e. in June & in December
