Your favourite site just got better!

Yes, that is right. After collecting a lot of feedback on making your website better, we are happy to announce the launch of the re-designed meritnation. Our team has put in a lot of effort over the course of the last year and can’t wait to see what you think about it.

We know this is an important time of the year for our students with some of you just wrapping up your final exams while your seniors in the X and XII standards starting their board exams. Hence, we have conducted multiple levels of testing to understand how the new site is useful to our students, including tests in our design lab as well as controlled testing by releasing it to some of you over the last few months.

The results have been fantastic and a lot of you, who have used it, absolutely love it.

Here are just a few changes in the new website.

Reduced clutter: Find what you want quickly, in just a few clicks.

Navigating through the new site is easier and more importantly, it feels very natural. All your subjects are available in the left and the features like study material, NCERT solutions, chapter tests, revision notes etc.. are neatly organized in the top under 3 categories: Study, Test and Revise. The hugely popular Ask & Answer section is accessible from here. Even the fun sections of the site like our collection of over 500 games, teasers and friends zone are easily accessible directly from the top bar.

Now, while studying you can also find over thousands of questions answered by Meritnation experts for that particular subject and chapter in the right Ask & Answer widget. You can even ask questions directly from the chapter without leaving the page!

Plan your studies: Keep a track of your activity on Meritnation

Ever wanted to see all the topics and chapters that you have already studied at Meritnation? Now you can do that very easily. Keep a track of all the tests, activities, topics that you have already taken or studied through the content progress bars. More importantly know how much more is left so that you can plan out your studies. Remember “Failing to plan is planning to fail!”

Connect with your friends: Studying together is fun

Studying along with friends can be much more fun than studying alone! And at Meritnation you are part of a student community that is over 40 lakhs and growing. You can now see what other students from your class are doing through the Activity ticker on the right side throughout the site. Make friends by clicking on other student’s names in the ticker, plan your studies together, beat them in games and even clear each others doubts.

NOTE: Existing meritnation users can access the new site by clicking on the “Try our new look” link on the top, You can always return to the old look through the “back to the old look” link under your profile picture on the top right.
